Why did you start breeding?
I got my first dachshund when I was 18 years old and I've been a dachshund lover ever since! I decided to make it my life's work to produce quality healthy companions to enrich lives like it did mine ❤️What makes your program special?
We breed for quality and health, not color, although we do have several different colors we strive for breed standard first. We want to produce puppies who look like Dachshunds!!What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include wirehaired, smooth, and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, chocolate, brindle, chocolate and tan, blue and cream, black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

“We offer a one year genetic health guarantee with every puppy. Included is first vaccination, dewormed several times, socialized, started on potty training, puppy kit with sample food and take home goodies. We also offer microchipping. Our pups range from $2000-$3500 depending on sex and color.”

Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

We just picked up our boy today and Kimberly was so amazing throughout the experience! My sister got a dachshund puppy through this site from a different breeder a month before we did, and her experience led us to KB. We arrived, got greeted immediately, and were taken to see our puppy right away with a gift bag, paperwork, and answers-to-questions waiting. They asked if there was anything they could do or any questions they could answer. The entire process, Kimberly responded within 20 minutes on the GoodDog messaging system when I updated when we could pick up our pup or asked for pictures. Overall, she was very responsive and knowledgeable about these pups and gave all of the info you might receive from a vet willingly. Our boy is thriving, and I would recommend this breeder for anyone in the area!

+5My experience with Kimberly was so enjoyable! After inquiring about Wrangler (now named Copper), she gave me some info on who he was and even sent me some update photos later on which I really appreciated. She was responsive through the whole experience and my favorite part was the goody bag!! It felt personable instead of just a purchase, and I loved having a new toy for him! She even explained his vet records and wrote down the dates at which the next ones should be completed. This takes a lot of stress away when getting a new puppy in my opinion and I felt like an extra step was taken from her. I have not had this kind of experience from other Gooddog breeders which is why it was so amazing for me! I love Copper and he has made a great playmate for my boy Boone already! He has also been great with potty training already. His personality is so playful but also cuddly. Overall, I would really recommend KB Doxies. I love my new baby!

Everything about my experience with Kimberly went smoothly! Calvin is an excellent representation of his breed; energetic, intelligent, curious, and so, SO loving. He’s done very well with all of his checkups (he’s a bit of a celebrity at the vet- not because he’s there often, but because he leaves a lasting impression with everyone he meets).
