I'm Jacalyn A., the breeder behind KC Bar Ranch Aussies located in Preston, ID. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament. We focus on athleticism, conformation, and intelligence. We are dedicated to providing families with loving, healthy family companions.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We have always had a special spot for dogs. I grew up only having one dog. That all changed as we welcomed more dogs into our family. Our first litter was when we were first married, ever since I have loved the process and love sharing this passion with our kids. It’s so fun finding homes and meeting new people along the way.

  • What makes your program special?

    We offer 2 breeds of dogs. We have a lot of space for our breeding dogs and puppies to explore and run safely, being at the end of a dirt road, surrounded by fields. Due to our ranch, our dogs are exposed to many different animals and people. Our dogs are able to utilize their athleticism and confidence being able to enjoy life. Our American Corgis are a “smaller” size when they are full grown.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, and black tri-color. American Corgi puppies include sable, black and white, black and tan, sable and white, and blue merle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jacalyn

Jacalyn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jacalyn partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $1,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Jacalyn was amazing at responding to any of our questions and was great at sending us little updates prior to picking up our new addition to our family. We drove quite a ways to pick up our Oakley and even met us halfway which was extremely thoughtful. She even gave us the cutest goodie bag with treats, toys, his food, and a blanket with his mom’s scent.
