I'm Karen M., the breeder behind KC Recherche' located in Hardinsburg, IN. We offer beautiful red poodles in 2 sizes toy or miniature. We have a 5 acre homestead where our poodles are raised in our home. We breed for temperament and health, first and foremost. Creating a healthy legacy is most important to us.

Why did you start breeding?
My very first poodle was a standard poodle and that was 40 years ago. Since then I have always had Poodles. I began breeding 35 years ago with Standard Poodles. Then I saw a red Poodle and I fell in love with the color. I hey series accident took me out of breeding for a few years. And then came my love of Miniatures and Toys.What makes your program special?
All of my babies are raised in my home. I partner with two other Poodle lovers. We all do our testing. We all strive for health personality, and an all-around dog for everyone.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include toy and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

“Puppies are AKC registered. Parents have been health tested. Puppies are raised in a safe happy home. All puppies are vaccinated and dewormed along with a veterinarian check and health guarantee. All deposits are nonrefundable. Your deposit will go towards the purchase of your puppy at pick up time.”

Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I couldn’t be happier!! Because of a little, red poodle, my life is now filled with laughter and joy! I was grieving the loss of my much loved poodle and had been looking unsuccessfully for another small poodle to be part of my life when I found Karen.
