Meet the breeder

I'm Dee N., the breeder behind KD's Kennels located in Grady, AL. KD's Tollers have done remarkably well in all venues, with wins at Westminster, hunt tests, agility, rally, obedience, dock diving and lure coursing as well as working as therapy dogs, search and rescue dogs, and service dogs. I have loved dogs all my life, and have been training and breeding dogs for over 30 years.

Q. & A. with Dee

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was asked one day to show a friend's Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Toller for short. I showed him or rather let him show himself that day and many times after that and fell in love with the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

I have loved dogs all my life, and have been training and breeding dogs for over 30 years. I have gained a lot of experience which is incorporated into my program.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red gold and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
