I'm Julie M., the breeder behind KeeRocka Show Dogs located in Council Bluffs, IA. I am a long-time breeder and an advocate for ethical, responsible breeding. I am invested in this community. I enjoy helping connect breeders, buyers, and puppies, as well as seeing love and joy blossom from the connections made through dogs.
Q. & A. with Julie
Why did you start breeding?
Although I do not think it's likely that I will have another litter at this point, it has long been my passion to raise smart, loving, and loyal puppies. I love working with them and seeing the positive effect that a well-behaved, furry companion can have on his or her family. Breeding has been a joy in my life, and I am dedicated to promoting responsible breeding practices so these incredible breeds can thrive for generations to come.
What makes your program special?
I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Great level
KeeRocka Show Dogs reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cardigan Welsh Corgis.
Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
