I'm Bethany N., the breeder behind Kefi Collie Co located in Cincinnati, OH. We responsibly breed UKC and ESCR registered English Shepherds and AKC and ABCA registered Border Collies. Our dogs are bred to excel in the sporting world as well as make wonderful farm and family companions. Our dogs are the source of much joy and excitement in our lives which is what “Kefi” means in Greek. We hope to breed dogs that bring this much “Kefi” to their new families' lives.
Q. & A. with Bethany
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a cattle and goat farm, breeding and showing them. I always loved it. We used English Shepherds as managers on the farm. Since then I have also fallen in love with the sporty Border Collie.
What makes your program special?
I am a small kennel. All my dogs live and sleep under my roof. We let our dogs pick the sport(s) they like most and pursue that with them. We love training them when they like it just as much as we do.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
