I'm Kelly A., the breeder behind Kelly's Australian Shepherds located in Traer, IA. We are a small family breeder raising Australian Shepherds in our home with our 10 homeschooled children. Our dogs are part of our family & are raised around kids, cats, & everyday life. Pups receive lots of love so they grow into friendly, confident companions ready for their new families. 🐶.

Why did you start breeding?
Our family got into breeding because we saw how much raising & caring for animals benefits our children. With 10 homeschooled kids, it has been a beautiful way to teach responsibility, compassion, & stewardship. Our dogs are part of our family, & raising puppies together has become a meaningful part of our home life.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised in our home with our 10 homeschooled children, so they receive constant love, handling, and socialization from the very beginning. They grow up around kids, cats, and everyday household life, which helps them become confident, friendly companions ready to transition smoothly into family homes.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
