Q. & A. with Kayla
Why did you start breeding?
We fell in love with our first standard poodle, Ruby and quickly realized that she showed amazing qualities from day one. My husband and I had talked about wanting to breed her because of her calm yet attentive nature. Along with her genetics being from a good quality line. I prepared myself with everything I could breeding wise. For two years before her OFA’s were performed, I immersed myself into the breeding word. I was able to find wonderful and caring mentors along the way that have been a huge blessing with this entire process. We continue to learn as we grow our program and I am thankful for the continued success we have with our litters and owners alike. It is a very important and intimate experience with our program.
What makes your program special?
My family, our love for our animals. We strive to improve the health line of the poodle world. We do ENS with our puppies from day 3-16. Along with scent training for any possible future service dogs we may produce. We do sound stimulation, along with vaccines, deworming, crate conditioning, and litter box training.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
