Q. & A. with Anna
Why did you start breeding?
My love for Dachshunds inspired me to dedicate my breeding program entirely to them. Their charm, intelligence, and loyalty motivated me to learn everything I could about genetics, pedigrees, and health testing. I chose to focus exclusively on AKC Dachshunds so I could specialize in producing healthy, well-adjusted puppies that represent the breed standard while also being wonderful companions.
What makes your program special?
Kindle & Burrow Dachshunds is built on intentional, responsible breeding. Each pairing is chosen with health, temperament, and conformation in mind, supported by DNA testing and pedigrees. Puppies are raised in my home with daily interaction, children, and other pets, giving them the confidence and socialization they need. My goal is to provide families with healthy, happy Dachshunds for life.

Norman and Ellie's litter
Parent dogs
Ellie, mom
Dachshund
About Ellie
Ellie is our shaded red sweetheart — playful, affectionate, and full of life. She has the kind of personality that lights up a room, greeting everyone with gentle confidence and a wagging tail. Though she loves to explore and chase after a toy, her favorite place is always close to her people. Ellie’s loyalty runs deep; she’s tender, intuitive, and has a way of bringing comfort and laughter wherever she goes.
Norman, dad
Dachshund
About Norman
Norman is our dapple-coated gentleman with a calm soul and a curious heart. He loves to follow us from room to room, always wanting to be close but never demanding attention — just quietly present, watching with those thoughtful eyes. He has a gentle, loyal temperament and a way of melting into your lap like he’s known you forever. Norman’s personality shines most when the sun hits his coat and he pauses to take it all in — sweet, steady, and full of quiet joy.
