I'm Kattie L., the breeder behind Kingdom Dreams Australian Shepherds located in Winchester, TN. Our Aussies are bred with the most care. We prioritize conformation, temperament, health, and the overall ability to be a beloved, life-long companion. We do genetic testing on our breeding dogs. Our primary goal is to raise companions that will bring joy and happiness to a family.

Why did you start breeding?
I started out breeding Boxers. When my husband and I got married he did odd jobs and someone gave him a Blue Heeler for payment. That is when I started really looking into herding breeds. I sold a foal and the young lady who bought him had an Aussie and I fell in love. I got my first Aussie in 2014. He was not breeding quality. Then in 2018, I purchased the stud that we have now. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.
What makes your program special?
We raise our pups in our house. They visit a licensed vet and we do not cut corners on health protocols. We microchip all of our puppies and we also require a return contract. It is so fulfilling and rewarding when families tell me we changed their life when they received our puppy. Our special attribute of focus is temperament. Social pups are happy pups and that is so important!
