I'm Joy S., the breeder behind Kingridge Kennels located in Mc Murray, PA. With 15+ years of breeding experience and a background in developmental psychology, we raise each puppy in our home for the best possible start. Elite CH lines, rigorous health testing, ENS, ESI, extensive socialization, and obedience, crate & potty training create the strongest foundation for life.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always been captivated by the profound bond between people & dogs, and their unmatched ability to bring joy, love, and connection. Labradors drew me in with their intelligence, intuition, loyalty, and by the way they serve as guide, therapy, and assistance dogs. That admiration grew into a desire to raise Labs who could deeply enrich a family's life while reaching their fullest potential.
What makes your program special?
Kingridge pairs elite Champion bloodlines and rigorous health testing with developmental science & gentle, positive training. Through our exclusive Smart From the Start program, puppies are raised in the heart of our family and receive ENS, ESI, robust socialization, temperament testing, a detailed puppy journal, and 4 weeks of training exercises to pass the baton seamlessly to each new family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Joy

Joy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Joy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $4,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

The refundable deposit secures your place within the litter and applies toward your puppy's price. It is accepted after application approval, and we confirm Kingridge is the right fit for your family.”

Contract & health guarantee

Joy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Annie possessed a beautifully petite, correct, square English build, the sweetest expression, and warm, dark eyes that seemed to look right into your heart. Like her mother, Eden, Annie had an exceptionally calm and gentle temperament. She was happiest simply being with her family, whether she was joining in the day's activities or quietly relaxing by our side. She had an endearing, heartwarming personality that made everyone who met her fall in love. To us, Annie was everything we had hoped for in an English Labrador. Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
