I'm Bill P., the breeder behind Kivalo Poodles located in Eastsound, WA. We offer well-socialized and healthy pups, and we occasionally have opportunities to place dogs in guardian homes. Health and disposition are our biggest concerns for all of our dogs and puppies. We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match their temperament and personality!
Q. & A. with Bill
Why did you start breeding?
I used to breed Toy Poodles 20+ years ago. Now I breed Standards, because I appreciate the durability of larger Poodles and that they can compete in sports easier. I am new to breeding Standard Poodles and am excited about the chance and to do everything better than I did 20 years ago.
What makes your program special?
I find most animals aren’t even health tested, let alone have any titles. My bitch has several sport titles, and both my parent dogs are health tested. I prioritize the health of my dogs so that my puppies will be able to live full, happy lives.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
