I'm Christy H., the breeder behind Krafthaus Rottweilers & Australian Shepherds located in Arcanum, OH. My goal is to produce a great representation of the Rottweiler and to continue improving the line with each generation. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments. My priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all my dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond.

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to do our part to better the breed. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Rottweiler while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation.
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are bred to produce healthy, sound, and versatile pups. Our ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Rottweiler will continue to thrive for generations to come.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
