I'm Dawn O., the breeder behind Krazy Acre Farm located in Willow Springs, MO. Krazy Acre Farm is committed to raising Happy Healthy Mini Dachshunds. All our dogs are Embark tested & PRA Clear. Our goal is always to better the breed. Puppies are AKC Registered & Microchipped.

    We strive to stand out from other breeders. All our dogs are Embark tested & seen by our vet regularly. We only produce a handful of pups each year to insure happy healthy dogs.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, cream, red, black, chocolate, brindle, chocolate and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Dawn

Dawn has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Dawn partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“The price includes a minimum of Two vaccinations, health check, worming, Microchipping, AKC PET Registration & a new puppy care package. AKC breeding rights are offered at a base price of $3,500. We require a non refundable $400 deposit to hold ANY puppy. This insures the buyer is serious, & will provide the pup with a good home.”

Contract & health guarantee

Dawn may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Amazing communication and such a personable experience from start to finish! We first **saw Mr. Green Collar (Sundae) online** and instantly fell in love with him. Dawn made the entire process so easy—she even agreed to drive **three hours** to meet us so we could bring home our little **Sundae** 💛☀️🍨. Sundae is our **first dog**, and Dawn made the experience incredibly special. We drove **seven hours** to get our little guy, and she was very flexible and open to adjusting times due to weather if needed, which we really appreciated. When we finally met Sundae in person, my boyfriend and I fell even more in love with him—although we already were!     Dawn was very quick and responsive, I can tell she really cares for her puppies. I picked up my dog Zeppelin, which I’ve had now for around 6-7 weeks, and he’s been so easy to train, very easy going around other dogs, I can tell he came from a good home before I picked him up. I would 100 percent recommend getting your puppy from Dawn!
