I'm Sloane K., the breeder behind Kreger Farms located in Cedar Hill, TN. We are a farm located in middle Tennessee striving to provide good quality Australian Shepherds as loving companions! Our dogs are bred with health and wellness in mind. They are raised alongside livestock, and chickens, and handled daily by our children. We breed working lines as well as companion lines and we are sure to have a puppy to meet any need that you may have!
Q. & A. with Sloane
Why did you start breeding?
We raise registered Simmental Cattle and love the genetic side of it. We travel the country going to cow shows. The idea of diving into breeding dogs has always intrigued us. Digging into the genetics to try to create top-of-the-line dogs is what our goal is with our program.
What makes your program special?
We are not a puppy mill breeder. Our dogs are raised right beside us and are part of our family. They check cows with us, they run the farm with our children. They are truly family and I couldn’t imagine any other way!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
