I'm Sam K., the breeder behind Kreger's K9s located in Menasha, WI. All of our puppies are bred, raised, and loved indoors to produce happy, healthy pets for those seeking the best family companion! We are dog lovers through and through! Our pups are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them. It’s an amazing experience as breeders to provide others with puppies that we know will bring them the same joy!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Sporty Mix puppies include medium and large sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Border Collie puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Border Collie puppies are blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sam

Sam has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes ABCA (for Border Collies only) and AKC registration. Multiple dewormings, and first vaccinations. Puppies are raised using ENS, ESI, and are introduced to something new everyday. Deposits are taken once the puppies are born. Deposits are non-refundable because all that money goes right back into care for the pups and their mom."

Contract & health guarantee

Sam may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Full Embark Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We are so appreciative that Sam allowed us to grow our family by giving us Maverick! After almost being scammed by a different breeder, my boyfriend and I were very skeptical about how to move forward with trying to find our fur baby. Sam and her partner were amazing. Sam understood why we were so skeptical and provided us opportunities to meet in person with her multiple times before putting a payment down on our puppy. She was so amazing with answering our questions and providing us with all the things necessary to make the transition easier. The weekly updates with photos and videos of our puppy made us feel included in his care. We would recommend Sam to others, and if able to, would go through this process with her again.

    Sam was wonderful to work with and very accommodating. We were happy to have met our puppy’s mom and dad and full sister from an earlier litter. If the temperament of our new family member, Fynn the coltriever, is any measure of Sam as a breeder, I would recommend her to anyone! He was clearly loved in his beginning weeks which means so much to us. We’re so grateful that he’s now ours.
