I'm Kristie W., the breeder behind Kristie's Sheltie Sweethearts located in Flowery Branch, GA. We believe that every dog deserves a loving family—and every family deserves a healthy, well-socialized companion. Our breeding program is rooted in a commitment to excellence, focusing on both health and temperament to produce dogs that thrive in family environments.
Each puppy is raised in a nurturing setting where early socialization, gentle handling, and play with adults and children are part of everyday life. We take pride in preparing our pups to become confident, affectionate, and joyful additions to their forever homes.
From the first tail wag to the final goodbye, our mission is to create lasting connections between our dogs and the families who welcome them.
Q. & A. with Kristie
Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with the Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie) breed, and had a great desire to further that breed's longevity with healthy, happy pets that bring joy to their companions.
What makes your program special?
We carefully pair exceptional parentage, and with our puppies raised right in our home, we're able to provide devoted, individualized care during their development. By introducing them to people of all ages, we ensure they grow into not only beautiful and healthy companions but also emotionally balanced, with wonderful temperaments and strong social skills—ready to thrive in a diverse and loving family environment.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black white and tan and blue merle white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
