I'm Donna M S., the breeder behind Kurscha Alaskan Klee Kai located in Delton, MI. We are a small hobby breeder of the Alaskan Klee Kai. We breed with an eye towards conformation, health, and temperament. Through our various years of working with animals, we believe that possessing a sound mind and a sound body is what's best for all beings. When breeding, we pay attention to specific traits in the parents to produce the most desired combination - a dog that can move and is trainable and tractable which allows it to be a joy to live with.
Q. & A. with Donna M
Why did you start breeding?
Purposeful and ethical breeding is so important for the healthy preservation of the Klee Kai. I started breeding to not only preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines, but to improve this breed with each litter and do my part to ensure the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come. It has been such a fulfilling journey!
What makes your program special?
My program was built with love, care, and intention from the ground up. The quality of my puppies reflects the conscious decisions I make throughout every part of the breeding process. I am an experienced breeder, and I take my role seriously. I keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents. I am confident that my puppies will enrich your life just as much as my dogs have touched mine!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
