I'm Santana W., the breeder behind Labs of Romeo located in Washington Twp, MI. We are English Labrador enthusiasts with a great love for each and every one of our dogs and a determination to breed the best! We live on 5 acres and are located in South Eastern, Michigan. Why did you start breeding?
I had a friend who used to breed Labrador Retrievers and I used to go over and help for years and years one day I decided to start my own kennel and have enjoyed every second!
What makes your program special?
I strive to stick to breed standards to make sure I am producing healthy, great temperaments by doing all the correct testing!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Santana has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Puppies come with AKC papers, bi weekly deworming, vet check, first around of shots, 24 month health guarantee. Deposit is nonrefundable unless puppies are born and we don’t have what you put your deposit down for or you can roll your deposit onto the next litter.”

Nina is a female Labrador Retriever almost 5 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Santana decided to make her part of their program. Santana has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
