I'm Hope S., the breeder behind Lace Creek Ranch located in Middleville, MI. We are dedicated to placing our dogs in loving homes. We also strive to place dogs that are healthy and have wonderful temperaments. We follow Puppy Culture, do health testing, socialize, vaccinate, microchip, expose to other animals, and leash train.
Q. & A. with Hope
Why did you start breeding?
We spent a year and a half finding a healthy Australian Shepherd that also had health testing and a good temperament. We learned so much more about the breed when we started showing. We would get lots of compliments on our dogs when we would take them to horse shows with us. We realized we wanted to raise Aussies.
What makes your program special?
We want our puppies to go to new homes and thrive. We provide new owners with information to help achieve this. They get a puppy packet with suggested food, vaccination protocol, toy, collar, leash, and other information. We are always available to help answer questions to find resources that are helpful. Our continued support also comes with support from other breeders we have a relationship with.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
