I'm Lacey A., the breeder behind Lacey's Lassies located in Buchanan, GA. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.

Why did you start breeding?
I LOVE rough/Scottish collies! Their temperament, beauty and their affection towards humans and other animals really is what did it for me. My first come Levi; he's something special! His breeder got rid of him because he didn't throw the colors he wanted. I didn't get him with intentions to breed at all! However, once I had him a realized how special he was, I knew everyone needed a collie in their lives! There isn't any collies in my area and I wanted to bring them to my area!What makes your program special?
My pups and dogs are raised with lots of love from me and my children! They get lots of hands on activity. My babies are part of my family, they're not just pets! After my pups go to their forever homes I check in from time to time to see how they and their families are doing.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 07 July 2025 •How are these angels 7 weeks old already?! They're so cute and full of energy! They enjoy getting to play in the carport when it cools off outside for a short period. Chase and wrestling are their pastime! We love to let them join in on our family movie nights and cuddle! And no I didn't put them in this pattern. 😂

Litter update on 07 July 2025 •These guys are cute as can be! I can't help but want to sit and hold them or play with them! They're in such a cute stage. They love to play with one another and my toddler! They like to play chase and get upset when they don't catch one another!

Levi James is such a sweetheart! He is very calm and laid back. If he wasn't big and didn't shed I would never know he is around. He never makes a peep unless he knows I am home! When I am sad he is my comfort, a big cuddly bear!

Liberty June is such a sweetheart!! She loves to cuddle, run around, and "guard" the yard! She is such a patient soul! My kids climb all over and she never makes a sound! Liberty June is very athletic making her on the lean side!

Laney Jewels is on the small side, she is a very calm, loving, and patient dog! She is very quiet and a lot of times you don't know she is around until she needs to go potty! Her qualities make her the perfect family dog!

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), DNA Disease Panel, Dermatomyositis, PRA, Rod-Cone Dysplasia 2 (rcd2), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
