I'm Rachelle D., the breeder behind Lake Mini Aussie’s located in St. Amant, LA. This is the 2nd litter for our girl. If you would like to see more pics of either litter please let me know. Her puppies are all healthy and happy. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! When we got our first dog, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families!

Good level
Lake Mini Aussie’s reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Miniature Australian Shepherds.
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
