Meet the breeder

I'm Alexia B., the breeder behind Lakeside Cockapoos located in Saint Cloud, FL. We’re hobby breeders looking for individuals and families that will continue to love and spoil our puppies as much as we do! We breed with a focus on health and temperament, and we have years of experience in preparing puppies for their forever homes. We spend lots of time socializing and training our pups so they will have a great foundation of good behavior and neurological development.

Q. & A. with Alexia

  • Why did you start breeding?

My very close aunt has been breeding Cavalier King Charles for 20 years. I’ve always LOVED helping her and being apart of it all. I knew it was something I could have a huge passion for if done on my own. So here we are! With her as my mentor, she has set me up with knowledge to be one of the best breeders around! Now I am able to have a career from home, raise my children, homeschool them, and fulfill my life as I desire!
  • What makes your program special?

My dog breeding business is truly special, as it involves a family effort with my two children actively participating in the daily care of the puppies. This hands-on involvement, including play, handling, and affectionate interactions, contributes to the puppies' well-rounded temperament. The 24-hour love they receive, beginning and ending with kisses from my children, creates a nurturing environment that sets my breeding venture apart with a personal touch. This handling with my kids each day, teaches the dogs patience, prepares them for the handling that comes with grooming, vet visits, teeth brushing, nail clipping, and of course being around other children. Not just that, but I also only have 1 litter at a time. With that, my litters are getting top notch care, with all their needs being met, in a clean and safe environment.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
