I'm Jan S., the breeder behind Lakeside Labs located in Soddy Daisy, TN. We specialize in breeding beautiful, healthy, and AKC Hunt Titled Labrador Retrievers. Our Labradors are our companions at home and in the field, and they exemplify the breed standard in temperament and intelligence. They are fed a species-appropriate raw diet which contributes to producing vibrant, healthy puppies. We are passionate about our program and we look forward to connecting with you!

Why did you start breeding?
My first Labrador is such an amazing dog, and she inspired me to want a puppy from her. She developed a following in our hunting circles because of her talent and personality, and so many people we knew wanted one of her pups, too! That led to our focused ambition to breed exceptional and healthy puppies who could bring joy and love to others as she has brought to me.What makes your program special?
We're passionate about raising well-rounded pups who will excel in any venue with their new families. We take pride in our pups. We breed AKC Hunt-titled Labradors from award-winning bloodlines. Our dogs are family and spend time outdoors swimming and doing what Labradors love to do - hunting and retrieving!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Jan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $1,350 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices includes the health guarantee, AKC registration, and microchipping. All our puppies are the same price independent of color or sex. Deposit is 500.00 , this is refundable if your puppy pick becomes unavailable , eg. not enough of a desired sex born for all customers. This deposit may be carried over to the next litter. Possibly at a higher pick level or refunded.”

About Rayne
Rayne is an AKC Junior and Senior Hunt test titled Labrador Retriever. She is an excellent hunting companion and is steady and consistent. Her personality at home is excellent. She is quiet in the house and gets along perfectly with other dogs. As a mom she has been perfect with the puppies, gentle and quiet.

About Stax
Stax is an AKC Master Hunt titled Labrador Retriever. He was invited to attend the Master Nationals in Pedukah KY in 2024. He is amazing in the field, both upland and water, is high drive and full of heart and the perfect hunting companion due to his calm but focused demeanor. He has 12 pro Master passes so far. He can run with a pro or an amateur handler which is a tribute to his unwavering desire to please. At home he has a terrific off switch, is an absolute sweetheart and is quiet and gets along perfectly with other dogs. He has all his health testing completed. He is the complete package and is a dream dog.

AKC hunt titled. Working upland and water hunting dog. Exhibits the hallmark traits of a Labrador Retriever, loving and sweet, gentle with children and other pets, drive and determination in the field, devoted companion. At home she is quiet and very affectionate. Loves to snuggle and cuddle in bed! Outstanding dam to her pups.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Animal Genetics Panel, Agouti DNA Test, Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
