I'm Jamie L., the breeder behind LaPoe Labradors located in Clare, MI. I am a hobby breeder who both shows and breeds English Labradors. Our puppies are socialized with Puppy Culture. I am very thoughtful about everything I do in my breeding program. My buyers all complete a screening so I know I am placing each pup in a safe home.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I bought our first Labrador, Gunner, as our wedding present to each other in 2001. He was such a wonderful dog that we thought we would get a female and give the whole breeding thing a try. We were very naive at first, but we have grown and learned so much along the way.What makes your program special?
My program is special because of my dogs and my passion. I love organizing breedings and puppy packets and folders. I love meeting new families! I also get pretty competitive when my dogs are off at shows.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in a kennel on my property.

Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $3,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Contract & health guarantee
Jamie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
