Meet the breeder

I'm Ariel P., the breeder behind Last Call Border Collies located in Kalispell, MT. At Last Call Border Collies, we are committed to breeding Border Collies that excel in working, sporting, and active living homes. Our mission is to prioritize health, temperament, biddability, and athleticism, ensuring that each dog thrives in every aspect of life.

Q. & A. with Ariel

  • Why did you start breeding?

It was love at first sight. At 18, I bought my first Border Collie and never looked back. I began working her with sheep and quickly found my place in that world. In 2014, I bred her to a stud from Broken Circle bloodlines, and that’s where my breeding journey truly began.
  • What makes your program special?

Our breeding program is truly special because I invest a tremendous amount of time with each puppy, ensuring they receive plenty of love and socialization. My background in dog knowledge and training allows me to carefully select breeding pairs to produce well-adjusted, healthy puppies that thrive as happy, well-behaved companions.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and rough coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, blue merle, red merle, red, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
