I'm Laurie C., the breeder behind Laurie's Miniature Australian Shepherds located in Douglasville, GA. My dogs are responsibly bred for health and temperament with a focus on athleticism, intelligence, and friendliness. I provide families with wonderful, healthy, socialized pets.
Q. & A. with Laurie
Why did you start breeding?
My daughter got an Australian Shepherd, she was the smartest dog I had ever met. The breeder had a large following through word of mouth. Her dogs are wonderful, super smart, and high energy. My female comes from her line. I had her tested through Embark and she is full panel clear. I wanted others to experience the joy we have with our dogs.
What makes your program special?
My male comes from Timberline lineage, he is super smart, energetic, sweet, and absolutely beautiful to look at. He throws the blue merles along with a couple of black tri's. I love the little tails on my Aussie's and I do not remove them.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and black tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
