I'm Kelly Z., the breeder behind Lazzy Z Dachshunds located in Karnes County, TX. We are a small breeder of AKC Miniature Dachshunds located in South Texas. We strive to raise healthy, beautiful, and intelligent puppies with great temperament that will become excellent family pets.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell In love with the breed and wanted to share their amazing personalities with others.
What makes your program special?
They are raised at are home, and are apart of our family. They get excellent socialization with adults, children, and other animals.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn (isabella), gray (blue) and tan, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Kelly
Kelly has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes limited AKC registration first round of vaccinations, deworming, and puppy socialization. A nonrefundable deposit of $200 shall be applied to the final purchase price for the puppy/dog.”
Contract & health guarantee
Kelly may provide a written contract or
health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your
puppy purchase. If Kelly offers a contract
or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them.

Vet Wellness Exam

DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
