Meet the breeder

I'm Paul C., the breeder behind Leander Shih Tzu located in Leander, TX. Our dogs are bred for intelligence, temperament, and just being a good companion. Our goal is to ultimately raise happy and healthy dogs to go loving homes.

Q. & A. with Paul

  • Why did you start breeding?

We love animals. We got our first Shih Tzu (Coco) around 5 years ago. We soon realized he needed a companion, so we then got Persephone. As they grew and more of their personalities came out, we decided to breed them.
  • What makes your program special?

We look at each litter like they are part of our family. They are cared for, given high quality food, and get a vet wellness check along with all first vaccinations. They receive lots of play time and begin basic command training.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brindle and white, black and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
