I'm B. D. J., the breeder behind Legacy Mountain Ranch located in Cle Elum, WA. We are small, home-based hobby breeders that specialize in producing exceptional Labrador Retriever puppies from AKC lines for hunters and families alike. Our goal is to blend both exceptional show and hunting qualities into one well-rounded, sound dog!
Q. & A. with B. D.
Why did you start breeding?
My goal is to produce the next generation of quality, athletic, structurally sound, and beautiful Labrador Retrievers. I am dedicated to continuing my phenomenal bloodlines in an effort to provide others with loving, healthy, and happy puppies. Rest assured, this is where amazing temperament, structure, and beauty meet!
What makes your program special?
I breed to produce dogs that are beautifully striking, healthy enough to impress your vet, intelligent enough to be the head of obedience class, athletic enough to win in sporting events, and are dedicated to being your best friend. My dogs do all this, all while still being the hard-working hunter! My buyers love the quality of pups that I produce, and many have come back for a second pup! I raise only a few litters a year to enable me time to give each individual puppy the love and attention it deserves.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
