Vet day today!! The littles passed with flying colors!!! We were so proud, not only with how they handled the diesel truck but also the new to them people in a new and scary place. Especially since vet offices are full of sites, sounds and smells that can be quite intimidating for a puppy!! Bravo little ones!

The littles”whiskeys” posed so well we had to share!

The little wigglebutts got introduced to an unknown to them dog, Miss jazzy, our grandmother around the place. Needless to say, I think they and she both enjoyed the time in the playpen!!

We’ve been enjoying the lovely weather with the littles in the big play pen! They were having a blast exploring the new space, though once we sat down they all said they were lap dogs and wanted our full and undecided attention!

The “Whiskey” wigglebutts sure is getting big!! Here are some updated photos for all the munchkins! They have their eye and ears open and are starting to zoom around!!

Eyes and ears are open!!! They say the world is a much bigger place than they knew!! We are starting exposing them to new sites and sounds slowly and carefully. When they eye and ears fist open everything is quite scary since it’s the first time they’ve ever heard anything or seen shapes of anything. Their eyes are actually their weakest sense when they are little. The nose develops fist and then the ears with the eyes sight not getting really well developed to include depth perception until closer to 8-10 weeks old!

Miss Emberlys wigglebutts are growing!! Their eyes are peeking open and they are just getting strong enough to start thinking about waddling!! Before long their gonna have their engines roaring an be off to the races!! Which is when the fun really begins for them.

Australian Shepherd
About Emberly
Emberly is the speed model of Aussie. She LOVES to chase her ball, frisbee or any activity that means she gets to go! She loves car rides, hiking and hanging out with the humans. She is sweet and affectionate but would love it if you just kept tossing the toy. She loves diving into water and is soon going to be starting dock diving for fun. She’s an absolute blast to have around the place. Her puppies are not quite as fast as her.

About Zane
Zane is the main man around the place. He is a sweet natured and fun loving boy. He loves to get the girls in a game of tag but he’s just as happy hanging with the humans. He is more food motivated then toy motivated but will happily bop along with the ladies as they go. He puts a sweet and even temperament on all his puppies that make them the perfect companions weather out on adventures or curled up on the couch at home.

About Kona
Kona is a wicked smart Aussie that absolutely loves her human and has a high food drive. She would do amazing at scent work as she loves sniffing out her treats regardless of how hard the task is. She has a low toy drive but her food drive makes up for it in making any task easy to teach. Her puppies are always inquisitive, and calm and quite the lovey pups.

I talked to three breeders when we were considering an Aussie puppy. Holly at Legacy Ranch Australian Shepherd’s was so friendly and responsive, she quickly earned our trust. We especially liked that once we paid our deposit, we were put in a queue to spend time with the puppies and select the one that best fit our family. All the puppies were so special and gentle, very loving. We knew it would hard to pick just one! In our case, little Sierra walked right over and picked us! ❤️ Two weeks after we picked our puppy, we were able to bring her home. Sierra is just the sweetest girl! She’s already fitting into our family after less than a week, and she loves her big brother Finn. The packet of info Holly provided has been very helpful. This has been a fantastic experience, and we’ll certainly contact Holly the next time we’re looking for an Aussie puppy!
