  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with dachshunds the moment I met my first girl, Penny. She changed everything. From her sweet spirit to her hilarious personality, I knew I wanted to share the joy these dogs bring but not just by placing puppies. I set out to truly better the breed I adore.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes lengthydog.co special? It’s all love. Our mini doxies are raised in our home, snuggled daily, and treated like family from day one. We focus on health, sweet temperaments, and that classic dachshund charm. It's not just breeding—it’s sharing the joy of doxies done right.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Ilse

Ilse has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Ilse may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
