I'm Ruth N., the breeder behind Liberty English Cream Golden Retrievers located in Knox, IN. I strive to produce quality puppies that are structurally sound, healthy, and have wonderful temperaments. As a breeder, we strive to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of our puppies to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
My love for Golden Retrievers inspired me to share this amazing breed with the world in a responsible way. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others. It has been an absolute joy of a journey and I pride myself on helping all of my clients find the right fit for their needs and lifestyle.
What makes your program special?
My dogs and puppies are members of my family, and they get the best care I can possibly provide. My goal is to provide you with a simple puppy-buying experience, and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Ruth

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies come with first shots, dewormed, microchipped and vet checked. AKC Limited Registration. One Year Limited Health Guarantee. Deposit will hold puppy of requested sex at listed price. Balance due at time of pick up.”

Contract & health guarantee

Ruth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Sammy
Sammy is an ‘International Champion’ and has his ‘CGC’ as well as his ‘Trick dog’ title. Sammy loves to go to the Nursing Home and visit the old folks. Sammy has perfect obedience skills when visiting the Nursing Home. Sammy also has several overseas Junior Championship titles. He has everything ‘clear’ in his genetic tests. Excellent OFA hips and passing elbows, eyes and heart.

About Lady
Lady is everybody’s friend. Lady has an ‘English Coat’ with soft, beautiful waves. Loves to play outside and just be near the family. Lady loves to play ball and can run like a deer. Lady will ‘talk’ when there is something she thinks you should know or if she needs something.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
