Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah-Dawn L., the breeder behind Liberty Longhair Dachshunds located in Collins, GA. We prioritize health, good temperament and high quality in our puppies.

Q. & A. with Sarah-Dawn

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have been raising and studying colors of dachshunds for 4 plus years.  Dachshunds have been my family’s breed of choice and I chose to continue the obsession. My passion is the elegant long coat dachshund.  I am obsessed with the gorgeous coats and strive to produce the best.  As much as “looks”matter to me, healthy dogs, and producing healthy babies is always my top priority.
  • What makes your program special?

We stride to raise the highest quality long hair dachshunds possible. We are intrigued with the many combinations of colors that the long haired miniature dachshund can produce. By providing top quality care and the study of their DNA we learn more and more about these beautiful dogs daily.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Dachshund puppies include cream, chocolate and tan, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
