Meet the breeder

I'm Megan C., the breeder behind Lil Maine Border Collies located in Richmond, ME. ABCA (American Border Collie Assc.) Registered. Open AKC Registered. The temperament and disposition of our dogs are very important to us. We strive to own and produce level headed border collies that can excel at any sporting event but also have the "off switch" when it is time to come inside the home. We practice herding, agility, and dabble in dock diving. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and ability. We strive to produce beautiful and versatile beloved companions. Our dogs are excellent all around dogs, and we are proud to continue their line.

Working with Megan was a wonderful experience…! She provided constant updates, shared plenty of photos, and was very responsive to emails and questions. It’s obvious she really cares for her dogs and is a responsible breeder. I’m hoping to be able to work with her again in the future when we’re ready to add another to our pack.

Megan was great! She was easy to work with and quick to respond to questions. I loved that she showed pictures and videos of the pups as they grew. Tilly (Nessie) is very friendly and a real love bug. She's active and easy to train while still being a cuddle bug. Loves belly rubs!!
