I'm Rene C., the breeder behind Lil Rhody Blues Australian Shepherds located in West Greenwich, RI. I am a small-time breeder which allows me to give each litter my full attention and care. I focus on producing a good temperament and healthy pups. I love being a breeder. It's so fulfilling to have the opportunity to create companionship and love and to see the positive effect that a beloved, furry companion can have on its family.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always been invested in the well-being of animals. I wanted to give back to the breed by producing healthy pups and placing them into loving homes. Australian Shepherds have proven to be wonderful companions in my life, and it is a privilege to share that love and friendship with others.What makes your program special?
As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Our pups come with a 1yr health guarantee, a health certificate, first shots, have been on a deworming schedule and AKC limited registration. Most holding fees are refundable which I will explain in more detail on our Holding Fee Contract. You will be emailed a copy of our Holding Fee which needs to be signed and returned.”
