I'm Stephanie W., the breeder behind Lion's Gate Dachshunds located in Fletcher, NC. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and are loved as family. We spend countless hours with each of our litters, socializing and caring for our puppies to prepare them for their forever homes. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too!

Why did you start breeding?
My grandmother bred Manchester terriers and my fahter breeds AKC champion beagles.What makes your program special?
We pay attention to blood lines for conformation, but our first priority is temperament. Few people show their dogs, but everyone will have their pet around a wide range of people. With five children still at home, your puppy should always be comfortable with kids. We begin house training as well.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Getting a puppy from Stephanie
Stephanie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes vet check, de-worming, vaccinations by the breeder unless you prefer to use your own, beginning house training, socialization from children and adults. Daily stimulation. Daily exposure to the sounds of a normal household. Many repeat families from our many years. Happy to provide references! I do not take deposits until the puppies are at least a week old. Deposits are refundable until the puppy is 5 weeks of age. I generally refund the full amount if I am able to place the puppy with another family quickly. We will never ask for a deposit until we have done a FaceTime, in-person, or other video visit.”
