Meet the breeder

I'm Lisa L., the breeder behind Lisas Pomeranians located in Wagner, SD. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.

Q. & A. with Lisa

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got into breeding back in 2005. I started with show potential puppies from the famous Diane Finch out of Iowa. She had the first black pom champion. I used some of her champion males to breed to my females that I bought from her to produce show quality dogs and put them in the ring. I slowly got out of showing but continued with producing some show quality puppies. I quit for an awhile in 2011 and went to college for a year. Came back in 2014 and got some of my lines back and started breeding again. My love for the Pomeranians never left me. I had to have my Pomeranians back. I don’t breed very often anymore. But once in awhile I will have a litter of pups. These puppies are raised in my home. Raised with my daughter and cats. The cats love to tease the puppies. They are fun to watch. I will always own a Pomeranian. They will always be a bond with them that will never break. :)
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is special cause I have been doing it for many years. I know my lines, I have learned what breeding lines go good together to make healthy and quality puppies.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Shihpoo puppies are tiny size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Shihpoo puppies include black, black and white, and white. Pomeranian puppies include blue parti, black and tan parti, black parti, chocolate parti, black, blue, white, chocolate, orange sable, black and brindle, blue merle, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

“We take great care in placing the puppy in the right home. Some puppies are small and can be hurt by small children. So some puppies may not be the right fit in a home with small children. Each puppy needs time and care. Make sure you are ready to be able to care and spend time with your new puppy. ”
