I'm Susan V., the breeder behind Little Angels Mi-Kis located in Rolling Prairie, IN. We focus on intentional breeding so that we can produce quality puppies that are excellent representations of the standard. Our program is dedicated to only breeding dogs that we know are exemplary representations of the standard and will make a positive contribution to their line and to the families who love them. We care deeply about our dogs and puppies, and we want only the best for them and for our buyers.
Q. & A. with Susan
Why did you start breeding?
I got started breeding when a friend of mine introduced me to the Havanese and Coton de Tulear. We bred them for a number of years. Our business grew but my partner had to move. That's when another friend of mine introduced me to the Mi-Ki. When I met these little guys I was smitten. I decided this was the breed for me. From then on I've been focusing on the improvement of the breed.
What makes your program special?
All my dogs are in my home like every day pets. They sleep with me and are treated as one of the family. The pups are whelped and reared in my bedroom until they are ready to meet the other members of the household. They are loved on everyday, started on potty pad training at 4 weeks. I adore each and every puppy. I'm here for each new puppy parent for support and questions.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brown, white, cream, silver, red, mahogany, fawn, blue, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
