  • Why did you start breeding?

    We love dogs. I really love puppies. However, every time you get a puppy, you obviously get an adult dog. After four dogs, one big, one medium, two little, I thought perhaps it was time to stop accumulating adult dogs. However, after not easily finding the dogs we wanted nearby, we chose to begin a very small breeding business with our two beautiful, sweet, snuggly mini dachshunds.

  • What makes your program special?

    We have immense love for our dogs. They are our family. We prioritize their health and longevity and will keep our females until they pass away from old age. We do not breed our dogs until they are two years old, and each dog will have no more than four litters. We are not doing this for a living. We are doing this because we think our dogs are special, and we want to share them.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jenny

Jenny has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Jenny partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We are careful with placing to make sure families are physically, emotionally, and financially able to care for a pet that will live for up to 16 years. We ask that you fill out a detailed application and have a phone conversation to secure a spot on our waitlist. Our waitlist is external and is not just for Good Dog customers as we have other ways of finding homes for our puppies Once a litter becomes available, you will be able to pick a puppy according to your place on the waitlist. We allow future-parents to pick a specific puppy when the puppies are 5-6 weeks old, and hopefully after a puppy visit. Example: you are number three on the waitlist for a four-puppy litter. You will pick your puppy after waitlist #1 and waitlist #2. This means you will have a choice between the remaining two puppies. When puppy selection occurs, if the puppy you want is already claimed and you do not want one of the other puppies, you can either remain on the waitlist for a future litter, or you may look elsewhere for another puppy. No hard feelings! Once you pick a specific puppy, you will place a $500 non-refundable deposit. The remainder of the puppy balance ($3000) will be due when you pick up the puppy, or it must clear the good dog system prior to puppy pickup. Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes: UKC registration, deworming, first round of vaccines and a health check, puppy socialization with other dogs and animals, puppy socialization with small children, & mom genetic profile. $500 non-refundable deposit will be due at puppy selection (5-6 weeks of age). The balance ($3000) will be due at, or prior to, puppy pickup.”

Jenny may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
