Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda H., the breeder behind Little Honey’s Dachshunds located in Magnolia, TX. Our goal is to produce healthy, well-rounded puppies that will become treasured companions for years to come. We prioritize health, temperament, and breed quality, and we carefully select our breeding dogs to ensure they meet these standards.

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey into breeding miniature dachshunds began with a simple love for the breed. As a stay-at-home mom of four, I was drawn to their affectionate personalities, playful spirit, and the joy they brought to our family. What started with one beloved dachshund quickly turned into a passion for learning everything I could about the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

Little Honey’s Dachshunds is built on passion. Our dogs are raised in our home as family members, surrounded by children, love, and daily interaction. My goal is to provide families with healthy, well-socialized puppies that will bring as much happiness to their homes as dachshunds have brought to ours.Breeding isn’t just about puppies for me, it’s about helping families find a lifelong companion.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, red, fawn (isabella) and cream, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
