Q. & A. with Mona
What makes your program special?
We are a small breeder. We have two females. Daisy is a silver. Pebbles is Sable. We have three males. Winchester and Bam Bam are silver. Solomon is white and black with brown tips. We take very special care of our mommies. When they are pregnant, we give them eggs and vegetables and vitamins and plus Pedegree dog food. We put our mommies in a very special room where it is quiet. During their labor I will sit with them and console them and love on them and help them through giving birth. My mommies are really good mommies. They clean their babies very well and make sure that they are taken the Teets. At three days old we have their tails, docked and dewclaws removed. At two weeks old we start deworming. At three weeks old we start introducing them to milk and mush. At four weeks old we give them another worming. At six weeks old they are on water and a little harder food. They get another worming. They seven weeks old. They are on hard food. At eight weeks old they get another wormy. They get their shots. They’re micro chips. They have all their folders ready AKC registered. And they are ready to go home. We also give them big hugs and a little message from us that we love them and they will have wonderful loving homes. I always ask people if they could. Please send us pictures as they are growing up. We get pictures all the time and I’m so proud that our babies are happy , I guess that’s why I feel my breeding program is special

Mona was quick to respond with my questions and was thorough in providing what I needed to know in the adoption process of "Ernie". She was generous in providing everything needed including a supply of food for the the adorable American Cocker.

Mona at Livingood Cockers was a joy to work with. Our new puppy, Lacey, was precisely as described and has been a welcome and valued part of our family. It was clear to us that Mona cared very much about each of the puppies and was very helpful in providing us with all of the information we needed to insure a successful adoption. If you’re looking for a Cocker Spaniel (and really, why wouldn’t you?), it would be very difficult to have a better experience than ours with Mona!
