Q. & A. with Laura

  • Why did you start breeding?

We have bred beagles in the past, but after having Collies we absolutely love them and decided to breed for quality pups.
  • What makes your program special?

We love our dogs as family and think they are the best in the world! They are smart and loyal and protect our family and our livestock. They are also wonderful kids' dogs! We have tested our dogs for CEA (Collie Eye Anomaly). Our Collies are healthy and happy! We put a lot into our puppies and and do age appropriate training. We start with crate training after weaning and leash and collar. If they are here long enough we start with a couple commands. We want them ready for their new home and we want you happy as well as the puppy. Blessings!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include sable merle and white, blue merle and white, black white and tan, and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Laura

Laura has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,299 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“The price includes AKC registration application, first shots and worming, and socialization. You will also have full breeding rights. We guarantee our puppies to be in good health when they leave our home. They will be vet checked. To reserve your puppy, a deposit of $500.00 is required through this secure site (Good Dog). Since the best time to sell the puppies is the first few months, a deposit will discourage change of mind which could compromise salability of the puppy. The remainder is due before the puppy leaves our property. Payments should be made within 1 month.”

Contract & health guarantee

Laura may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Laura offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Laura directly.

Laura made building our family so simple and easy. Fast and clear communication, updated photos of our pup, and genuine support and care for all animals within their home and during our pick up experience. Very friendly, thoughtful, and someone who I would choose to work with again. My family and I cannot say thank you enough!

I wanted to share our story getting our new girl Harper. I emailed Laura an inquiry of which she responded so quickly and superb knowledge of the collie questions I was asking.Laura had such good knowledge of her dog breed it immediately made us feel at ease. After a few emails we decided to go with Laura and Harper. Along the way we asked for photos every Friday and probably 30 questions. Along the way we got updates every week and when we inquired for more. The day we met Laura met us in Cincinnati a lot closer to our home. When we got her she was adorable, clean with a bow in her hair all combed out. Beautiful! Laura had all the needed paperwork along with a leash, collar and a bag of food. I can tell you that this breeder is top notch. Very knowledgeable of the breed and eager and willing to provide the best for her dogs and customers. We cannot thank her enough for this transaction. If you are looking for a great breeder and beautiful collie pups look no further. Laura is amazing. Thank you Laura for our beautiful new Blue Merle Collie.

Laura was very accommodating. I had to wait an extra week to travel to get my puppy due to weather and once I got there the snow was bad so she met me at a local business. I wanted to see the parents and she brought them with her. We talked for a long time. She was very informative. The parents are beautiful! My puppy is very alert, curious, and so smart. I’ve only had her home for a day and a half and she’s doing so well. She cried some the first night but last night she went right down. We’ve only had one “accident” so far. My little Rosie is adjusting quickly and is such a joy.
