Meet the breeder

I'm Allissa L., the breeder behind LL Weens located in Strafford, MO. At L L Weens, our miniature dachshunds are family. We carefully plan each litter with health, temperament, and quality in mind. Puppies are raised in our home with daily love and socialization, giving them the best start before joining their forever families. Lifetime support for every puppy family.

Q. & A. with Allissa

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our daughter had a dachshund, and when she moved out, we missed having a little weenie around. We got one of our own, and before long, one turned into several! That love grew into a passion for responsible breeding. Now I love raising healthy, happy dachshunds and sharing that joy with other families.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dachshunds are family first and foremost, and every one of them lives in our home with us for life. Every puppy is loved from birth, carefully socialized, and raised with the same care we'd want for our own. We send each puppy home with a thoughtfully prepared go-home packet and are committed to supporting our families long after their puppy comes home.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include piebald, red, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
