Why did you start breeding?
In 2011, we began looking for our first pug. By taking the cheaper route, we learned there was a lot of truth to the statement “you get what you pay for.” When we brought home our bundle of joy, Daisy, we were crushed to discover just how mistreated she was. Daisy was infested with fleas, full of worms, and had no clue about potty training. From this experience, we decided to make it our goal to ensure your new family member is healthy, happy and well on its way to being potty trained.What makes your program special?
We raise all our puppies right in our living room. They are socialized and pottybox trained when they go to their new homes. We give them all the love they can handle.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, fawn, brindle, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

"We have a health guarantee as well as genetic testing of the parents for PDE,PKE,DM,PK,DEF. A deposit is required to save your spot on our list. You will be contacted as soon as your desired puppy color is born. If you are open to other colors you will be contacted sooner."

Pyruvate Kinase Deficiency (PKD), Basenji Type , Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Pug Dog Encephalitis (PDE)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

My experience with Loda Bales was great. I’m a first-time puppy owner and had lots of questions. They were very helpful and patient with all my questions. I especially appreciate that the puppies were box-trained. As recommended by them, I have been raising him with a nice pen enclosure for his safety and comfort. I’ve only had my puppy for about 3 weeks but feel really good about him and the breeder.
