Ella H.

Breeder of Cocker Spaniels

Meet the breeder

I'm Ella H., the breeder behind LoElls Cocker Spaniels located in Nixa, MO. We’re a mother and daughter team striving and dedicated to producing quality Cocker Spaniels with fantastic temperament, health, and conformation. We are also very passionate about color genetics and have been researching it for 10+ years now!

Q. & A. with Ella

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our whole family has raised dogs for as long as I can remember. My grandmother and great grandmother both raised yorkies for over 30 years, so it’s very fitting that we would also raise dogs. We had began our journey with English bulldogs and quickly realized that they were not the breed for us. After a lot of research, we settled on standard poodles and have now branched out to cockers.
  • What makes your program special?

We’re very dedicated to improving our breeds by producing structurally sound, healthy, intelligent, well rounded, and versatile puppies! Our dogs are all AKC registered. We are also breeders of the AKC Bred with H.E.A.R.T program! We also show many of our dogs to ensure we are breeding towards breed standard. Our dogs are family members and are treated nothing short of that.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
