I'm Julie L., the breeder behind Logan’s Dashing Dachshunds located in Waterford, CA. We offer AKC miniature dachshunds bred with a focus on health and temperament. We pride ourselves in providing loving, healthy, good tempered, well bred family pets. Our pups come vet checked with 1st shots, worming and lifetime breeder support.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We have had dachshunds for many years as pets. When we got our Stella we knew we would want to keep her line going. Her breeder was also interested in her pups. We started working together and we have been fortunate to be mentored by this amazing longtime breeder. We have since continued to build our program.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are an in home family breeding program. All our pups are raised in home with the family. They are exposed to as many factors as possible to ensure their temperament and ease of transition to their forever homes. We expose them to numerous other animals, people, noises, and varying conditions. All our breeding dogs are health tested. We start basic kennel and pad potty training.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, red, chocolate, chocolate and tan, chocolate and cream, gray (blue) and tan, gray (blue) and cream, black and tan, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Julie

Julie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pricing includes prepaid AKC registration, vet checked with 1st shots and worming. We start work on socialization, crate training and potty training. We work with pet-only families and approved breeders. All of our puppies are offered in the same price range. Price depends on gender as well as full or limited AKC.”
