Meet the breeder

I'm Mabel M., the breeder behind London’s puppies located in Boston, MA. Let me share a little about what goes into my breeding program because many people don’t realize the amount of work, dedication, and care that’s involved. For me, breeding is not just about producing puppies it’s about raising healthy, well tempered companions who are truly loved from the very beginning. Before my females are even bred, I invest heavily in their health. That includes top quality nutrition, supplements like folic acid and iron, imported from Germany and the Dominican Republic, I import most of my vitamins from Europe to make sure my dogs get the absolute best. From the moment the pregnancy begins, I’m monitoring everything carefully to ensure both mom and puppies thrive. Once the puppies are born, the work truly begins. I am hands-on and involved around the clock monitoring weight gain, feeding, development, and overall health. The puppies are raised in a loving home environment, where they are handled daily, socialized, and exposed to normal household sounds and experiences. This early foundation helps them grow into confident, well-adjusted dogs. Breeding is not just a business for me it is my passion. Every litter represents years of planning, education, and investment, and each puppy holds a special place in my heart. My goal is always to place my puppies with families who will continue providing the same level of love, care, and commitment they receive from day one.

Q. & A. with Mabel

  • Why did you start breeding?

My youngest daughter’s love for dogs is essentially what encouraged me to pick up breeding and really develop an authentic passion for it, but also the desire to heal the younger child in me who always dreamed of owning a pet but was unable to because of a urban Dominican New Yorker lifestyle.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes my breeding program special is my attention to detail and deep care for each and everyone one of my dogs. Although my goal is to get these dogs ready for their adoption by their new loving owners, I treat them as family . Because of the way I handle and care for my dogs, I have had successfully high reproductive rates and no still births.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Dachshund puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Shihpoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Dachshund puppies include longhaired and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Shih Tzu puppies include black and tan, black white and silver, gold and white, and brindle. Dachshund puppies include chocolate, blue and tan, gray (blue) and tan, and dapple.
