I'm Michael K., the breeder behind Lone River Dachshunds located in Memphis, TN. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! We keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents!

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

    Our puppies include chocolate and tan, black and tan, chocolate and cream, black and cream, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Michael

Michael has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Michael partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in placing our puppies in the right homes! Our puppies are matched once we have screened buyers and have approved your application! Our pups will be 8 weeks old before leaving us.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Michael was super responsive and answered all the questions I had when getting my first puppy which was ALOT lol ! He reassured us with daily updates and made the entire process so smooth the entire time. He really cares about all his puppies and I couldn't imagine getting my beautiful girl Lylah from anyone else but him! If your thinking about getting a miniature dachshund with a good temperament and have a good experience, then I would 100% highly recommend getting them from him:D
