I'm James & Samantha S., the breeder behind Lone Willow Aussies located in Manchester, IA. We are hobby breeders of AKC registered and health tested Australian Shepherds. We are committed and proud to provide quality, loving and healthy standard Australian Shepherds. Our puppies are a part of our family and we give them plenty of love, attention and socialization. The Australian Shepherd breed has always held a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to sharing our love for them with you!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red merle, blue merle, and black tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Puppy prices include a $3,000 non-refundable deposit and -$2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
